One thing that I’ve learned this year that I wish I would have learned last year is to use all of the resources available to me. Use the services of the Literacy Coach, the Math Coach, veteran teachers, anyone who can help. Use them. That’s what they’re there for!
Until next time!

Great advice. I think (since I don’t know yet) that first year teachers get so caught up in teaching their own class for the first time and how overwhelming life can get that they forget there is help around. It kind of reminds me of being a first time mom. Your life changes overnight and chaos is everywhere. But if you just slow down and ask for help, it can make a HUGE difference!
