Unpacking Trauma
I need to unpack this trauma like I unpack my suitcase.
I can never be that person again…
That broken woman,
That bitter woman,
That hurt woman,
That beaten down woman.
There’s nothing shameful about being broken,
bitter, hurt, or beaten down.
The shame is in staying there.
