Making Progress, Part 2

Dear Readers,
I have good news again. My first graders are also making fantastic progress. I’ve been using Elkonin boxes, short vowel bingo, sight word bingo, & sight word flash cards and it shows. Leily, who could read, but did not have confidence has started reading with such confidence. While Austin, who could not read at all, has been using his Elkonin boxes & good work ethic to decode like a champion.
I could not be happier for both of them. I’ve always said that one of the best ways to help a child is to build their confidence. I’d say this is a job well done For Leily & Austin! As usual, I’ll keep you updated on their progress. Bye for now!
